Diagram Studio is an application that aids in the creation of maps, charts, drawings and flowcharts with a complete set of shapes, symbols, connectors and templates. These diagrams can be customized and are not limited to the defaults of the program for the colors, shadows, textures, images and more can be easily changed.
All files created with the program have the programs format, but they can be saved as image, PDF, or HTML documents to be inserted into other applications like MS Office, or to simply be shared easily via e-mail or over the Internet.
It has to be said that this program has many of the features, users can find in graphics and engineering programs, but the difference resides in its simple interface, making it easy to be used by anyone. Of course it’s not as functional as ProVisio or MS Visio in the matter of data bases or repository creation.
One of the new features is the Ribbon tabs which organizes the shapes and tools better to quickly create diagrams (just like MS Office's 2007 ribbon interface). New styles called Quick Styles were added, these are distinct predefined formatting options to be applied immediately to shapes or the document.
Additionally, users can find the Staple feature which enables attaching labels to remain linked to a symbol.
Diagram Studio is an easy-to-use program for making attractive diagrams and charts, with hundreds of pre-defined shapes & symbols plus several pre-designed templates with the advantage of customizing objects in color, fill, size, transparency, attributes.
